My content task folders are missing after upgrade

SEO Content Machine , , ,

This problem can occur if you are upgrading from an older to newer version of SEO Content Machine.

Problem

You will have the following problems:

If you upgrade SEO Content Machine and all your settings have been lost and the content task folder pane is empty.

You may also have lost all your custom sources configurations

Solution

Navigate to your username local app data folder.

Type the following into windows explorer.  %UserProfile%\AppData\Local

You will see 2 folders.

  • Satin_Blue
  • SEO_Content_Machine

You need to navigate into Satin_Blue folder and find the user.config file and copy it into the SEO_Content_Machine folder

Once you re-start SCM your old settings will be restored.
