What changed in SEO Content Machine in August 2026?

In August 2026, SEO Content Machine connected the SEO Workspace to WordPress, so you can choose pages, edit their drafts and publish them without leaving the workspace. SCM also gained an MCP server for outside AI assistants, more AI services, deeper Google Maps review collection, and image and video search inside the editor.

Can SEO Content Machine publish to WordPress?

Yes. Since August 2026, SEO Content Machine publishes drafts to your WordPress site from the SEO Workspace or from the draft editor. The page plan then marks the page as published and keeps its live link.

SCM shows the address each draft will land on before it posts, and bulk publishing lets you edit every address.
Pick a WordPress category when you publish, and mark which document a page publishes.
Edits to an existing page start from your real WordPress content, with shortcodes, layout blocks and captions kept.
Publishing over a deleted post creates a new one instead of failing.

Does SEO Content Machine have an MCP server?

Yes. SEO Content Machine added an MCP server in August 2026, so Claude Code and other AI clients can run Google Maps and web searches in SCM.

MCP browser tools let an AI client open and drive a page.
Google Maps results over MCP include each place's collected reviews.

Does SEO Content Machine support OpenRouter?

Yes. In August 2026, SEO Content Machine added OpenRouter, which you can test from API Logins and choose anywhere you pick an AI model.

DeepInfra, DeepSeek, Groq and LM Studio show the live model list for your account or your running server.
You pick the AI model where you work, from one standard list.
When a service rate limits you, SCM waits exactly as long as the service asks, and a wrong API key stops the task at once.

Reviews past twenty per place go to their own file beside the CSV.
A place found by two searches is saved once.
Results again include review keyword tags and the map embed code.
Stopping a local listings job stops it at once instead of finishing every place first.

Can SEO Content Machine find images and videos for a page?

Yes. In August 2026, SEO Content Machine added image and video insertion to the document editor toolbar and reworked both searches.

Image search works again and filters out adult results.
Video results show each video's length, and searching a YouTube channel by its @name works again.
You can stop an image or video search while it runs.

Does SEO Content Machine support DataForSEO and proxies?

Yes. In August 2026, DataForSEO in SEO Content Machine began returning People Also Ask questions and news results, and proxies with a username and password work again.

The search browser reports the Chrome version it really runs, which triggers fewer bot checks.
